One Hospitalized After 'Serious Auto Accident' On Long Island, Police Say

According to Nassau County police detectives, a 40-year-old man was driving a 2004 Infinity when he struck a 2021 Land Rover being driven by a 44-year-old man west on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 28.

Police said that as a result of the collision the driver of the Infinity was “severely injured” and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

He is currently listed in stable condition, according to police.

The driver of the Land Rover refused medical treatment at the scene.
